Click on the map to see more about the Gladstome reunion. There have been 3 family reunions so far and they have all been great sucsesses. The first one was the Gladstone Reunion 1999 This was held at the Gladstone Gaol. The gaol was a little creepy at night but it only added to the atmosphear of the weekend. The Whyalla family organised it, and everyone that was there had such a good time it was decided to make it an ongoing thing. The Family Cricket was the Highlight of the weekend. It was made obvious that there was some real talent in the family. But the South Australian side of the family proved that they are superior athletes when it comes to back yard cricket.

The accomodation was very good. The old trains going past on a regular basis was a big hit with the young and old alike. As at the Gladstone reunion we played the family cricket game, but this time the Broken Hill lot gave the South Australian side of the family a run for its money and in the end they were victorious.

At the Silverton 2004 Reunion We all stayed at the Silverton youth camp. This reunion was organised by the Broken Hill family, and as always we had a great time. The South Australian side of the family hit a crushing blow in the cricket when they proved that the Broken hill win at Pichi Richi was just a fluke when they took back the trophy in a convincing win. Although there was bit of confusion when a protest was put in by Bob. This was decided in a kangaroo court by the right honorable Judge Rollster he found in favour of the South Australian team. And they regained their trophy.

Loftia Park 2007

The Loftia Park 2007 reunion was as enjoyable as all the others. But this one had a sad ending. The death of one of our youngest family members Mason Roy was hard to deal with, but the fortunate part was the love and support that was demonstrated by this wonderful loving family. At first I couldnt fathom why such a terrible thing could happen at this time, but in reflection I think it was a blessing to have so many family members supporting us. Thank you all so very much, your kind words and loving hugs were a great comfort to all of us.
