Where it was.

  Loftia Park is situated in Mark Oliphant National Park in the Adelaide Hills. The drive to get there was great. Loftia Recreational park is a really nice place with an all important oval for us to play our family cricket match. There were also several tennis courts, and we even had beach volleyball, which was a big hit with the kids.

Who was there

I had a great time at Loftia, but that really goes without saying. It would be hard not to enjoy the company of this family. If you missed it you missed a great weekend please don't miss the next one.

What we did.

As usual the cricket game was enjoyed by everyone. But there was a little unrest as some family members thought the umpiring was a little one eyed, where as others just thought the umpiring clearly sucked. Although the SA team tried to give the rest of us a real chance to win back the trophy alas we just couldn't do it. The bush walking was a big hit with many of the family members and I believe some of them even found a waterfall wish I'd seen that, it sounded lovely.

Some of the family were so keen to get into the cricket they played inside the rec room, noone was suprized when they knocked a coloured globe to the floor, the only suprize was that it did'nt break. What with the singing dancing on tables and indoor Cricket the 2007 family reunion was a big hit with everyone from the oldest family members to the youngest

Although we had a tragic end to the 2007 family reunion, it was heartwarming to see this wonderful family pull together. So I would just like to say thank you all for the help love and support you gave during this terrible time, I love you all.
